Privacy Policy

This policy explains how our restoration and parts businesses collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our websites or contact us.

Effective date: August 8, 2026 · Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Scope and who we are

This policy applies to websites and online services operated by Klassic Kar Restorations, LLC, doing business as Kevin Kay Restorations, and Klassic Kar Parts, LLC, doing business as Kevin Kay Aston Parts (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). It covers information collected through our websites, inquiry channels, and related online interactions.

It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control, even when we link to them.

2. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, IP address, and similar identifiers.
  • Customer and commercial information: vehicle details, requested services or parts, transaction and inquiry history, shipping information, and communications with us.
  • Internet or network activity: pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times of visits, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions with our websites.
  • Professional or other submitted information: company or role information and any content you choose to include in a message, project inquiry, parts request, or other communication.
  • Inferences: limited conclusions drawn from the information above, such as likely interests in particular vehicles, parts, or services.

We do not ask you to submit government identification numbers, account credentials, precise geolocation, health information, or other sensitive personal information through ordinary website forms. Please do not include highly sensitive information in free-text fields or email.

3. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you; automatically from your browser or device; from service providers that support website hosting, analytics, communications, form delivery, security, shipping, and transaction processing; and from publicly available or business sources when relevant to a request or relationship.

4. How we use personal information

  • Respond to restoration, service, parts, sales, and general inquiries.
  • Provide estimates, fulfill requests, arrange shipping, and administer customer relationships.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our websites and services.
  • Understand website use and measure the effectiveness of our content.
  • Communicate about requests, transactions, operational updates, and—where permitted—relevant services.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose relevant information to vendors and service providers that perform services for us, including website hosting, analytics, form processing, email delivery, security, professional services, shipping, and payment processing. We may also disclose information to government authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of a business.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information for those purposes in the preceding 12 months. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing use.

6. Cookies, analytics, and browser choices

Our websites and hosting platform may use cookies, local storage, pixels, logs, and similar technologies needed for site operation, security, analytics, and form functionality. Analytics information may include device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect site functionality. Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, our websites do not respond to those signals. Where legally required and technically supported, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of sale or sharing; we currently do not sell or share personal information for those purposes.

7. Data retention

We retain each category of personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the nature of the information, the length of a customer or supplier relationship, warranty and service needs, accounting and tax obligations, dispute-resolution periods, security needs, and applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to or confirmation of personal information we process; correction; deletion; a portable copy; and information about categories of information, sources, purposes, and recipients. Residents of some states may also have rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling and to appeal a denied request.

To make a request, email info@kevinkayrestorations.com, call 530-241-8337, or write to the address in Section 15. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and the business or interaction involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If we deny an appealable request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or using the same contact methods with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

9. California privacy notice

This section supplements the rest of the policy for California residents. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 2: identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet or network activity; professional information; and limited inferences. We collect these categories from the sources in Section 3, use them for the purposes in Section 4, and disclose them to the categories of recipients in Section 5 for business purposes.

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete covered personal information, and may receive a portable copy. California residents also have rights to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right-to-limit notice.

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits certain requests about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. We do not make those disclosures.

10. Children’s privacy

Our websites are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

11. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Communications choices

You may opt out of promotional email by using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications about an inquiry, transaction, service, safety matter, or legal notice.

13. Third-party links and services

Our websites may link to social networks, auction platforms, maps, suppliers, payment providers, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, services, or business practices. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required.
